MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He's made major inroads globally towards Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 won an Colombian Kids Choice Award as The Most Popular Song in 2017. In 2017, he dropped ADN, his first long-player to La Industria Inc. in Medellin. It reached the top 8 spot on the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was a Top Five hit for Ozuna as well as him the year following. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel for Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina that year. He appeared later in 2021 in a duet with TINI on her streaming smash track Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo was born into a household of music his mother and older brother are both musicians. In interviews, he described the importance of music as a requirement.
